Design and realization of numerous multimedia installations on 1000m² of floor space in the refurbished "Mozarthaus Vienna"

Due to the lack of original artefacts, Mozart’s life and times were recreated by checkpointmedia using audiovisual installations. The highlight of the exhibition is “The Magic Flute”: a stage landscape consisting of sets, lighting effects and tricks with mirrors shows an abridged version of “The Magic Flute” as a “virtual mirrored opera” from 1791 to the present day. more >>

Multimedia installations make it possible to present the development and function of parliamentary democracy on three levels (basic concepts, further information, experts’ level).

Case study: OMV Petroleum & Natural Gas - CD-ROM


Design and production of an e-Learning CD-ROM for schools on the subject of "Petroleum and Natural Gas - From Fossil to Fuel" on behalf of the OMV

This CD-ROM provides teachers and pupils - and anyone else who is interested - with a wealth of material for dealing with the subject of petroleum and natural gas. Hundreds of photos, graphics, videos and (partly interactive) animations illustrate economic and ecological relationships as well as details of the formation of the fossil fuels, how they are found and how they are extracted. The CD-ROM also takes a look at refineries, products and uses of the fuels. The material can be individually selected, arranged and edited for classroom lessons, lectures, project work etc. more >>

Design and creation of the website with project database linkage to facilitate administration of the individual projects.

The large number of individual projects that comprised Vienna’s Mozart Year 2006 made it necessary to plan and create a platform-independent, web-based tool that not only provides illustrations of the workflows but also supports all the different levels of implementation. A project database was developed that serves as a resource for web presence and printed publications and at the same time makes it possible to organize the individual events. more >>

As an alternative to traditional printed brochures, this CD-ROM was produced as an information and image medium. The information it contains focuses on areas such as infrastructure and services but also tackles more problematic topics such as the environment and security. A research tool enables users to consult material on the history, present and future of Vienna International Airport. more >>

Case study: DVD for the government office for rating computer and console games (BuPP)


Design and production of an information DVD

For the BuPP, a service of the Austrian ministry responsible for youth issues, a DVD was created that offers children, young people and teachers/guardians advice on which recommended computer and console games are currently available. Information on the games can be found according to a number of different criteria such as age groups. Detailed information and demo versions of games are available for downloading.

Design und realization of the website for adults and linkage of flash animations to the content management system

"Hands on, minds on, hearts on!" In the ZOOM Children's Museum kids explore the world with all five senses. In the exhibitions and workshops they play games that involve all the senses and provide them with emotional experiences that trigger learning processes and enable them to gain new insights. DVDs for the "Historical Panorama" at the Ladin Museum:
The history of the Ladin people in the Dolomite valleys stretches back more than 2,000 years. Their story is told at the Ladin Museum with video clips (animated scenes, commentary) which can be selected by the visitor.
