With a circulation of 38,500 the motorcycle monthly Motorradmagazin is one of the highest-circulation publications in its sector. Now, in cooperation with eProjects, checkpointmedia AG has completed the design, graphics and technical implementation of the specialist journal’s web presence.
Writing in issue 12-2007/08, Michael Bernleitner, editor-in-chief of Motorradmagazin, says of www.motorradnet.at: “The name was chosen because it is not intended to be a run-of-the-mill online motorcycle magazine with, say, a couple of old tests you can download for a fee, a few ads for events and a subscription form - as we’re familiar with from certain other specialist magazines. [...] Motorradnet is a vibrant arena, blossoming and flourishing, and it will continue to grow in all different directions.”
On the basis of the JART content management system, a platform for enthusiasts and others with an interest in the topic developed that covers all aspects of motorcycles and motorcycling. Up-to-the-minute articles, reports on tests, travel and tours along with features such as picture galleries, videos or GPS data, downloads, an extensive database of dealers and the growing “Paddock Club” community are the central elements of the web presence of the specialist publication Motorradmagazin.
