The UAE Desert Challenge takes place in the United Arab Emirates from 29 October to 2 November 2007. The race is the final of the 2007 FIA Cross Country World Cup and the 2007 FIM Cross Country World Championship.
It starts in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, at the sumptuous Emirates Palace Hotel. The course runs through the Rub al Khali, the world's largest sand desert, known for its 300-metre high sand dunes. The victory ceremony will take place in the International Marine Club Dubai.

The event's organiser, the well-known racing driver Mohammed Ben Sulayem, commissioned checkpointmedia's web department with the conception, graphics, copywriting and realisation of the web site. The site features live tracking of the race, updated daily, a host of photo galleries and everything you need to know about the race.
