In his new film, Nikolaus Geyrhalter follows the spectacle that is the Dakar Rally 2007 and encounters the diversity of African reality in Morocco, the West Sahara, Mauritania, Mali and Senegal. 7915 KM highlights the distance that political and economic conditions, coupled with perceptions and preconceptions on both sides, create between Europe and Africa.
