The new energy portal of Salzburg AG goes online

checkpointmedia has created the new energy-saving platform www.spare-energie.at for Salzburg AG. The Salzburg company is the largest supplier for energy, telecommunications and public transport needs in the west of Austria.
 
Saving energy and using it efficiently are central themes in today’s society. In order to ensure that customers receive all the tips and information they need on the subject of energy, checkpointmedia was given the task of creating a comprehensive and state-of-the-art energy portal by Salzburg AG, western Austria’s biggest energy supplier.
 
To design and produce the site, the company’s own experience and market research findings were drawn on, as were numerous studies on the subject of energy which also provided data from other regions.
 
The project, implemented in collaboration with the experts at developer.at in TYPO3, provides practical tips and a wealth of information for consumers. For instance, a wide variety of checks are provided for finding out energy consumption and potential savings, as is up-to-the-minute information on all the grants currently available in Austria. The link to Web 2.0 content and the daily energy-saving tips are also very practical; the latter can be directly subscribed to using an RSS feed.
 
Besides the inviting design and concept - both developed by checkpointmedia - particular importance was attached to attractively presented and current articles. The comprehensive information package is rounded off by interactive tools and services offering individual advice.
