checkpointmedia is redesigning the internet presence of the Wiener Akademie Orchestra to mark its 25th anniversary. Attractively designed and with a host of useful features the new site provides multimedia information for fans of classical music.
 
The Wiener Akademie Orchestra plays a leading role in the fields of concerts and opera and has performed in the foremost concert halls of Europe and the world. The orchestra plays original instruments and consequently offers the audience music with the sound of its time.
 
checkpointmedia created the concept of the site content and graphics for the Wiener Akademie and is also responsible for the technical implementation. To achieve this, checkpointmedia once again used its own CMS system JART.
 
The new website has deliberately been kept free of baroque elements and appears in a modern, pared-down style. The highlights include the practical concert calendar with archives, the CDs and DVDs available for sale and the comprehensive collection of press reports.
