Update for the oldest cinema in Vienna 2022

Based on the recently renewed infrastructure for media technology in Vienna's oldest cinema, checkpointmedia was commissioned to install a digital sound system consisting of a new, multi-channel cinema loudspeaker system with associated amplifiers and a sound processor for the playback of modern films and video content.

Commissioned by the WSK Konzertsaal Errichtungs GmbH, checkpointmedia  installs audio, video and lighting equipment in the “MuTh”, the music and theatre venue of the Vienna Boys’ Choir.
checkpointmedia technicians worked on the MuTh building site for five months from the beginning of July to the end of December 2012.

Media installations 2006

The audio-visual installations in the Mozarthaus are inspired by media techniques and "wonder worlds" from Mozart's time: the installation on the topic of “Figaro” combines the principle of old puzzle dice games with modern aesthetics and video technology. The grand finale is the multimedia homage to Mozart's opera "The Magic Flute": a stage set made of scenery, projections and lighting effects showing a short version of "The Magic Flute" as virtual "mirror opera" from 1791 until the present day.
