Vienna’s new location for music and theatre – the concert hall of the Vienna Boys’ Choir – opens its doors for the first time on 9 December 2012. The name of the concert hall on the southernmost tip of the Augarten was first announced in a press conference on 9 November 2012 and, according to its director Elke Hesse, represents the link between music and theatre: MuTh.
In cooperation with Penthouse Perfection (Graphiksdesign), checkpointmedia created the concept for the new website in keeping with the MuTh’s new CI and handled the technical implementation of the site. A specially designed database facilitates the organisation of productions taking place in the concert hall and dates. Additionally, a ticket shop was integrated into the site in conjunction with Wien-Ticket. The free publishing system Wordpress was used as the basis of the ticketing system, and a special plug-in designed for management of the event database.
