Since the opening on 13 September 2014, the museum - which is located in the former tram sheds in Erdberg - has a new sparkle. The listed building houses one of the largest collections of historical vehicles in Europe at the same time as offering visitors a modern museum with plenty of hands-on exhibits.

The displays feature underground trains, buses and trams from a bygone age. Theme islands accompany visitors of all ages with texts, images, multimedia content and games through 150 years of history: from the first journey on the horse-drawn railway and the famous "Americans" of the post-war era through to underground train design, the Silver Arrow and a glimpse of public transport in the future.

checkpointmedia designed and implemented the following media terminals:

Module 02: "Tram war as a business game"

Module 04: "City development up to 1914"

Module 07: "Time stream and timeline"

Module 11: "Logistics game"

Module 12: "Traffic rules quiz" and "Farewell to trams"

Module 13: "What have you seen?"
