“LERNORT DENKMAL” (literally, “Monument Learning Centre”) is the cultural education programme of the Austrian Federal Office for the Preservation of Monuments. Its aims include encouraging school pupils to become more familiar with their own culture, history and environment and to gain better understanding and greater respect for them.
LERNORT DENKMAL follows TAG DES DENKMALS as the second website created by checkpointmedia for the Austrian Federal Office for the Preservation of Monuments. It too has been created using Typo3 and has a similar layout to the TAG DES DENKMALS site with the aim of ensuring that all three portals have a a uniform appearance. LERNORT DENKMAL is not a relaunch but a new website specific to this topic, which was previously integrated in the Federal Office’s general website.
